Clarity - Shepherds window C1724

Hello everyone,

I thought I would share this card with you as I have learned a new skill, I am quite pleased with myself to be honest as I was really dreading starting this method, but I managed it!

I typed and printed the 1st verse of While shepherds watched carol and cut the card to size.

I used a Clarity stamp called Shepherds window and heat embossed it with Metalic black embossing powder. I then coloured the Shepherds with copic markers using the colours :-

Red - R29,

Blue - B45,

Green - G07,

Purple - V17 

Brown cane - E57, 

Yellow - Y35

I fussy cut around the inside of the window, The star I kept in tact as was the shepherds, I then used a double sided Adhesive sheet and attached it onto the back of the image. This is when I flaked a little of the Metallic flakes - sunset over the sticky adhesive and rubbed it over so that all the window was covered, I used what I call a scrunchy  to release any bits of flakes and to give it a shine. 

I added gold glitter to the Star,

I mat and layered onto red card and then centred it to a swirl embossed white card, I cut 2 black strips of card and added 1 to each side.

Whimsy - Penguin light me up - C1723

Hello everyone,

I hope you are having a very happy Wednesday,

I am having a very productive day with card making and blogging. 

My 3rd card I am blogging about today is a Whimsy digi stamp called Penguin light me up.

I decided use a circle die cut after I had printed him out and then colour him in with Copic markers.  

these are the colours:-

Grey - C5, C7, C3, C2,

Reds - R14, R27, R46, R59, for shading - RV10

Yellows - Y00, Y08

Blues - B00, B02, B05,  For shading - B0000 + Blender

Greens - YG11, G14, YG17, G28, For shading - YG00 + Blender, 

Feet - YR31, Y38,

Wire - G14, YG17, G28,

Blush - R11,

Belly + Face - C0

Whimsy Stamps - Jingle bell ride - C1722

Hello everyone,

My second card that I am blogging about today is the amazing Whimsy stamps design called Jingle bell ride,

When I first seen the image I feel in love with it, so I bought it on digi stamp so that I could resize it to fit.

I used Phil Martins Sentimentally yours sentiment, and Creative expressions elegant poinsettia that I stamped with memento tuxedo black ink.

I fussy cut around the poinsettias and glued them together, then added the finishing touch to them adding the shimmer sticker in the centre.

I used Copic markers as I always do to colour the image and the colours used was

Horse - W5, W3, W1, W0, W7,

Hooves - E41, E49, E57,

Green - YG11, YG13, YG17,

Red - R17, R27, R46,

Fur - C0

Gold bells - Y11, Y15, YR23

Pole - Y11, Y15, YR23,

Saddle - Y00, Y11, Y15,

Holly and leaves - YG61, YG63, YG67,

Poinsettia -R59, R46, R27, R17,

Shadow - B0000

Conie Fong - Snowy the penguin Joy to the world - C1720

Hello everyone, 

I have been working on this card a few weeks ago and just thought I would share it with you, there are quite a few cards so watch this space for more to come.

However, Conie Fongs Snowy the penguin joy to the world image is the one that I have used and loved making this card with it.

He is such a cheeky little chappie dont you think?

Conie Fongs Emma and Ellie is so versatile that I have managed to make this image into a Christmas Card. 

I made sure that I coloured in pastel pinks, blues and greys for little girls.  really unusual colours for Christmas but I think it works. 

I added the LOTV sentiment for added effect.

Conie Fong - Angel of Christmas stars - C1717

Hello everyone,

I hope you are having a good day today, I am doing quiet a lot of blogging because of all the cards I have made over the last few weeks.  

This particular image from Conie Fong called Angel of Christmas stars had me squealing inside and jumping up and down clapping my hands (I am joking but I was excited) jumping for joy. 

I love Angels and I knew that these colours just had to be red and gold. The very traditional colours for Christmas.

Hello everyone,

Well here I am again with another LOTV card for Christmas. 

 I do usually only make Christmas cards apart from the odd 1 or 2 everyday cards, Mother's day and Fathers day cards. 

This particular bear is James Snow angel and is a digi stamp.

The snowflakes are die cut from Creative expressions and the sentiment is from Phil Martins Sentimentally yours. 

I used Copic markers to colour James.

LOTV - Deck the halls - C1714

Hello everyone

I hope you are having a happy day today!

Here is another card from LOTV called Deck the halls

I bought it in digi stamp form as I could re size it to what I want. I printed it out 4 times so I had the complete image and cut out the 'gifts' 3 times. I coloured them with Copic markers and for the 3 gifts used WOW glitter for the gift ribbons.

I cut squares from the Creative expressions Squares, and arranged them to fit the image in, I then added coloured 'dots' to make it complete.

the sentiment stamp is from make it crafty, and die cut from again creative expressions pierced flags.

I hope this card and that it gives you some inspiration.

These 2 cards were very easy and so lovely to make, the design of the image is really unusual and screams Christmas eve to me and my days of childhood.
