LOTV James the bear - deck the halls - C1739

Hello again,

Thank you for taking a look at my blog post, I hope you will be inspired,

The card I am blogging about today is another LOTV stamps (yes I love them) and he is called LOTV James - deck the halls.

The image itself reminds me of the Christmas film called 'SCROOGED' where a family dress the youngest boy up in Christmas decorations, I used to watch that film every year and never get tired of it.

Back to the card, I thought pink for a girl would be different and as you can see it came out very pretty.

I added a little bit of non-shed glitter card that I die cut using Creative expressions snowflake die and a banner die that came from China.

I hope you like what you see.

I embossed it with gold embossing powder and then masked it while I added the colour using ink and added the trees.

I kept up with the gold and blue theme by matt and layering onto to gold mirror card and blue card.

The paper shelter - beautiful skier - C1721

Hello everyone,

Well today I made my mind up to make another card.

This time the image is from The paper shelter, and you can find her here, the beautiful Skier, and I must admit she really is beautiful.

I printed her on white card, and used copics to colour her, I decided that she should be in purple, grey and white with a touch of green to add a splash of colour.

I die cut the image using Sue Wilson oval dies and added a silver backing to enhance the image

I used 2 of Phil Martins sentimentally yours for the purple backing to give the contrast to her jacket, and also the non shed glitter card to give it that Christmas feel.

when I put it together is only when I decided on the sentiment and something to give it that lift and a bit more colour. the skis are from Marianne designs, The tree is from Le Crea Design, and the sentiment Winter is from joy crafts.

I added a touch of white glitter to the boot fur and the pom pom on her hat.

I will be entering this card into
The paper shelter challenge 279 Winter
and
The sketchy challenge #112 Team B Linda's sketch
