THE PAPER SHELTER Holy night - C179

Hello

When I first seen this image from The paper shelter called Holy night, I just knew I had to have it.

I printed the image onto white card and coloured it with Copic markers
I then mat and layered it onto red and then onto white to give a little more colour.

I also used a Phil Martin sentimentally yours stamp 'Have a Magical Christmas'  and die cut a circle, then matt and layered it in red, I added a thin piece of ribbon to the back and added a bow to resemble a bauble.

I added Glitter to make it look more Christmassy

Copics I used are
Skin - E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, and R20 for the blush
Lips - R22
Hair - E43, E47, E49
Dress - R17, R27, R46,

Sentiment stamp - Phil martin stamps

Christmas Scene C176

Hello,

Wow I am on a roll today, another card I am blogging about and I am really enjoying it.

A Scenery card made with a 7x7 card,

I brushed the top with Encore - Ultimate metallic blue ink.

I used the Stamping up - lovely as a tree with Memento - Tuxedo black.

The people, seat and fence was from Cardio

I then glittered and added just a touch of green Copic to under the trees

I made the border with blue non shed glitter card.

Cardio stamps

Inkylicious scenery C175

Hello again.

Another Christmas card, I said I love Christmas,

Something a little different from me this time, I have used a combination of Inkylicious and Cardio stamps.

I used a bauble template to get the design inside, stamped the images with Memento Jet Black ink and used glitter to make it sparkle and give it a Christmas feel to it.

The bow and flat beads gives it a little bit more of Umph I think.

LOTV lots of letters - C174

Hello
Boy oh boy am I on a roll here!

Again it is a LOTV image called Lots of letters this time.
I liked this image because there is a lot going on in it, and because Children are out and about posting letters and cards, (not a sight we usually see now)

I used silver, non shed glitter card and cut a border using Creative expressions square dies
the snowflake die behind the image I got from ebay
I also used the Merry Christmas sentiment stamp from Phil Martin Sentimentally yours
and I used Copic markers for colouring

LOTV Snow family - C173

Hello

My next card I have made is LOTV
I do love these images, they are so fun to colour and so cute!

I thought about the traditional colours (red, green and silver or gold) but when I think about snow I think of cold fluffy and white,
so these cool colours were a perfect blend to match the image.
blues and browns and creams worked well together,

I added 2 die cut trees and added snow for effect.

I didnt add any greetings as this will be added when needed, but as you can see I have left a space at the bottom for it to go there.

you can find the image here

hope you like what you see

LOTV carol singing - C172

Hi,

Well another card from LOTV and this time I have used 'carol singing'.
When I think of Christmas in the olden days (before I was born) I can image this is what carol singing was like. under the lamp post, snow on the ground and wrapped up warm while singing from a sheet.

Just like the image on my card.

I used a 7x7 card, copic markers, and you can find the image from here
